A Shakespeare Festival
On May 3rd, the English Language and Literature Department held a Shakespeare Festival, celebrating the life and works of the world renowned playwright William Shakespeare. Konya Hall was beautifully decorated with wallpapers and paintings about both Master Shakespeare and his plays. The program started with a slide show on the biography of the Bard of Avon. Following this was a performance of Act V, Scene I of Hamlet by ELL-4a and ELL-4b students.

The audience also had a chance to win prizes during the Shakespeare Trivia Game. A speedy sonnet game was also played-the team of audience volunteers that correctly filled in the missing words to Sonnet 29 the fastest was proclaimed the winner. A fun and educational time was had by one and all.
