Cinderella
English B-level Prep School Students staged a spectacular theatrical performance of Cinderella: A Pantomime in One Act, Monday May 21st and May 22nd, 2012 in Konya Hall. The performances were an opportunity for our students learning English to demonstrate their achieved proficiency in English. The performances, more importantly, were used to raise funds for the library in order to purchase books and other educational and scientific material from the other Central Asian Republics. This is a historical initiative geared towards establishing the first Central Asian intra-regional book exchange program between the libraries of universities and other higher educational institutes. The endeavor is a necessary step towards scholarly exchange between academics and scientists of the region; thereby advancing overall scholarship.
With the performances, students raised nearly ten thousand soms towards their goal. We congratulate them on their efforts.
