7th Meeting of Erasmus+ project Modernization of Higher Education in Central Asia Through New Technologies (HiEdTec).

From 17-20th of May in Kyrgyzstan the 7th Meeting of Erasmus+ project Modernization of Higher Education in Central Asia Through New Technologies (HiEdTec) was held. Each day of the meeting was held at three different partner universities in Kyrgyzstan.

Partner universities in Kyrgyzstan are Ala-Too International University, Kyrgyz State Technical University and Issyk-Kul State University.  

The first day of the meeting was held at KSTU (КГТУ).

The second day was held at AIU (МУА).

The third and fourth dates were held at ISU (ИГУ).

The aim of the HiEdTec project is to adapt and transform the education system for the digital generation through the introduction and effective implementation of ICT-based innovative educational technologies and didactic models in the teaching process.

On behalf of this project in 5 countries of Central Asia – Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan – Centers for innovative education technologies were launched with active learning classes, training of lecturers for developing digital materials for courses, creation and dissemination of Virtual Library for each country. 

Each university developed web-based courses open for public use. 

During the meeting, web-based courses and work done during those 3 years were shared and demonstrated.
