Event dedicated to the State language holiday

On September 27, 2022, the Department of inter-faculty state disciplines together with the Center of Sports and Health held a concert event dedicated to the State Language Day.

            Exactly 33 years ago, on September 23, 1989, in accordance with the law of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR “On the State language of the Kyrgyz SSR”, the Kyrgyz language received the status of “state language”.           

The concert program began with a congratulatory speech by the rector of the university, PhD, professor Sanzharbek Erdolatov. He stressed that no matter how many foreign languages we know, we must remember our native language. At the same time, on behalf of the Music Club, a talented student Karina performed the song of Zholdubai Kaiypov “Atam menen eneme".        

As congratulations on the day of the Kyrgyz language, students of the private school “Seitek” Medina Urakunova performed the song “Oylonchu” by Midin Alybayev to the accompaniment of komuz, Zhumashov Eldar played the composition “Datkaiym" on a clay flute. Also, the dance team of this school performed the “Kyrgyz dance", attracting the attention of the participants. In addition, the komuz ensemble “Dobulbas” perfectly performed the famous melodies “Ergime” and “Mash Botoy".            

            The program was accompanied by an exhibition of books from the bookstores “Zhamgyr” and “Book House”, a fair of Kyrgyz national dishes and drinks, as well as national games such as toguz korgool. And the host organized fun games to cheer up the guests.           

In the festive evening, college student Bekmyrza Bakalchiev read the poem “Ene til” by Zhenishbek Zhumakadyr and received a loud ovation. At the evening, pop singer Omurbek Zhanyshev performed several of his songs live in the repertoire and congratulated on the state language holiday.
