On February 20, 2024, a meeting with representatives of Nagaoka State Technological University, Japan, was held at Ala-Too International University.

The meeting was attended by Yukio Miyashita, PhD and Director of the Center for Global Education, as well as Lee Naoko Iizuka, Assistant to the President and Coordinator of international students. During the meeting, further prospects for cooperation within the framework of the dual degree program in the field of IT in the areas of master's degree and Ph.D. were discussed. The possibilities of an exchange program for students and lecturers, as well as joint research projects were discussed.
