Get a diploma from America, Germany, France or Korea by studying at the AIU

The desire of citizens for education is an important resource for the preservation and increase of intellectual capital in society. The youth of Kyrgyzstan strives to get higher education in Western universities by participating in various programs, and the number of students studying abroad is growing every year. Applicants began to choose universities that provide dual degree programs. This gives a unique opportunity to get a bachelor's or master's degree in two countries at once, without wasting additional time. Such universities include the Ala-Too International University with dual degree programs in several countries.

AIU works closely with universities in North America, South Korea, Germany, Poland and France in the framework of the dual degree program. By participating, students receive benefits such as immersion in a new cultural and educational environment, two diplomas for the same period of study, as well as competitiveness in the labor market for employment, both in the country and abroad. Since education at AIU is conducted in English, the university prepares its students to study in English-speaking universities from all over the world. It is important to note that such an opportunity is provided in certain faculties in the presence of high academic performance during 1-2 courses. After passing a thorough selection, the student will have the opportunity to participate in the double degree program. Below is a list of universities from seven countries:

North American University, North America (Bachelor's Degree)

North American University is a private educational institution in Houston, USA. Students of IT, Management and Pedagogy only with high academic performance can participate in the 2+2 double degree program. 2+2 means that the student will study at AIU for the first two years, the remaining two years at North American University. The University strives for excellence in teaching and student orientation, as well as to create an environment conducive to the development of global cultural competence, personal growth and responsible citizenship.

Solbridge International School of Business, Woosong University, South Korea (Bachelor's Degree)

AIU has signed an agreement with Solbridge International School of Business. It is an international educational institution, part of Woosong University. Students of Management, Economics, Finance and International business can participate in the 3+1 program. Solbridge International School of Business can provide discounts for AIU students.

Inha University, South Korea (Bachelor's Degree)

Another university – Inha University is a partner of AIU under the 2+2 program. Students of Management, Economics and IT can become participants of this program and spend two academic years in South Korea. 

Hof University of Applied Sciences, Germany (Bachelor's Degree)

Hof University of Applied Sciences accepts students in the field of Computer Science and Computer Engineering. Students can study in Germany under the 2+2 program. Also, graduates of the IT direction of the AIU can undergo an internship.

Bialystok University, Poland (Bachelor's Degree)

AIU cooperates with Bialystok University, which gives students the opportunity to study in Poland for two years. 

University of Applied Sciences of Zwickau, Germany (Master's Degree)

The University of Applied Sciences of Zwickau in Germany provides AIU students with a double degree Master's program in Management. This university is attractive because unique research projects are being conducted, clearly structured training programs are offered and close business relationships with many enterprises have been established. Every year at least 1,000 foreign students from 50 countries come to study in Germany.

University of Clermont Auvergne, France (Master's Degree)

The University of Clermont-Auvergne provides AIU students with an Erasmus+ double degree Master's program in the specialty “Development Economics”. The student will have a great opportunity to study for a year in France, receiving an Erasmus+ scholarship and employment in France in the field of economic development. Those students who have shown high academic performance in the 1st year in such areas as Management, Economics, International relations and Applied mathematics can apply for the program.

Successful participation in the double degree program is evidence of comprehensive training in accordance with international educational standards, recognition in the professional environment and a high degree of trust among potential employers. Every year, such programs allow dozens of students to significantly expand the amount of knowledge they receive and study various methods of their application. 

Requirements:

  • Being an AIU student
  • The overall average bachelor's score is 75 (out of 100) or 2.7 (out of 4)
  • English level B2 (Upper-intermediate) or TOEFL 95 points or IELTS 7 points.
