An agreement of cooperation was signed between the National Statistical Committee (NSC) of the Kyrgyz Republic and IAAU on the 24^th of December, 2014.

The Chairman of NSC Mr. Akylbek Osmonaliev and Rector of IAAU Dr. Prof. Osman Gokalp put their respective signatures on the agreement. Head of the NSC office, Ms. E. Alymkulova and Dr. Urmat Tynaliev of IAAU and others were present at the signing ceremony.

This was the result of the earlier negotiations initiated by Dr. Urmat Tynaliev of IAAU according to the news as of December 2, 2014, please see below. Particularly, this agreement will facilitate the internship and employment opportunities for the IAAU students as well as graduates.

During this meeting, it was agreed that the NSC and IAAU will participate in some joint round tables, conferences and activities. It was also pointed out that a few professors and researchers of IAAU often use the NSC data in writing their scientific papers and articles that are published not only in Kyrgyzstan, but also in western countries, including US, UK and so forth. Therefore, the validity and reliability of the data provided by the NSC is the key to the success of these publications. Regarding this, Mr. Akylbek Osmonaliev proposed to use the NSC annual catalogues to order some publications or some specific data at IAAU researchers’ request.
