The award ceremony for the winners of the competition for the financing of scientific projects of the AIU took place at the university. The organization of the work on the evaluation of applications was carried out by the Department of Science of the University. As a result of the work of the commission, funding was allocated to five scientific projects:

1. Collection and linguistic adaptation of data for the corpus of speech recognition and synthesis in the Kyrgyz language (Project manager Kazakova Nurzat)

2. Strengthening the research capacity of university professors (ReCap) (Project manager - Sagynbekova Aikerim) 

3. AI models for speech recognition and synthesis in the Kyrgyz language (Project manager - Ruslan Isaev)

4. The platform of the scientific journal “Alatoo Academic Studie” (Project manager - Esenalieva Gulzada)

5. “Picasso” Wall Printer (Project manager - Andrey Ermakov).

The last two projects are being developed by students of the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics under the direct scientific supervision of lecturers. The meeting discussed the progress of the projects, the participants were asked questions, as well as expressed wishes for the future commercialization of developments. The rector of the AIU, Ph.D. Zhakshylykov Zhyldyzbek, presented the winners with gift certificates and checks.

This is the second time university grants have been funded at the university. In 2021, the university supported the financing of a Holographic Intelligent Voice Assistant (HIVA), which allows navigation through the university. This year, the scale of support has increased significantly, which will undoubtedly contribute to the growth of the scientific potential of our university.
