AIU took bronze in the “Future Skills Challenge 2022”

On November 7-11, 2022, the online contest “Future Skills Challenge 2022” was held, where contestants from Iran, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, India, Belarus and Ghana took part.

The “Ala-Too” International University was represented by Isa Kasymbek uulu, a talented 1st-year student of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, who is fond of graphic design, who proudly defended the honor of the university, taking 3rd place.

“This competition tested the skills of participants in different types of graphic design. Every day, different tasks were given for three hours. Graphic editors like “Illustrator”, “Indesign”, “Photoshop” were used, with huge capabilities, each of which serves its own purpose, as well as a professional vector graphic editor “Adobe XD” for the development of layouts. I also want to say “thank you” To Andrey Ermakov, who motivated me to participate and for his knowledge, which he shares with us” he noted.

“The purpose of the competition is to present the level of training of young specialists in accordance with international standards. Also, the practice of creating design layouts in the areas of corporate identity and corporate design, informational and interactive design, prototyping design, editorial design and packaging design,” added Andrey Ermakov.

Andrey Ermakov is a lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science of the AIU, acting associate professor, who has a lot of knowledge in the field of computer science and graphic design, which supports students and their creative endeavors.
