The professional development seminar for teachers and program managers of IUCA and Ala-Too University was held at the Ala-Too International University on March 30, 2019. The main issues of discussion were: individual trajectory of education and independent work of students; formative assessment and its role in building an individual trajectory of student education, as well as criteria-based assessment of students' academic achievements. The seminar aims to improve the teaching and assessment methods.
